Being involved in the Media industry requires certain grades and education, but also it needs a personal CV, where all your skills and abilities and plus school is added into either 1 or 2 pages, this is where managers would seek your abilities and see if you employable in their Media industry. Furthermore, adding all your abilities, skills and work experience and why you want to work in the Media industry is very important because there are hundreds of job applicants applying for the same job, so making you and your CV stand out would secure you a place in the Job role.

This is an example of a Successful CV for a Production Assistant Resume in the Media industry;

Another successful CV for the Sales department in the Media industry:

Good points to include in the CV for the Media job role:
-          School and education – make sure you add all of your personal education in school, college, university or 16+ because with the correct grades and qualification the job offer would be easier to get, so passing your grades and GCSE’s would secure you a place.
-          Secondly, the personal summary, where you explain yourself in a small paragraph, which has to be shorts, descriptive and something to sum you up in a big way for the Media role to grab their attention. Make sure you add a lot of positives and things you have achieved and what makes you want the Media job so badly.
-          Thirdly, skills and interests where all your hobbies, skills and interests are added in bullets points, the more you have the better your CV would stand out to the rest.
-          References – for example job experience or work experience where you have either been paid or volunteered somewhere to help and make your knowledge stronger in the environment we will in, the more work experience you have to more closer you will get to the job role as you have experience in busy environments and also knowledge on how certain things work.

Furthermore, if you are trying to get into the Media industry and you are really stuck on certain jobs and where to look, in my opinion and the way i have set out my research i have really found that most jobs in the Media industry are really easy to find when researched properly, for example on these website below i have found that the description of the job, salary, and the type of Media work is really clear which straight away gives an indication to the candidate if its suitable or not. What i really like about the first website is that there are many different categories and search engines to suit your ability, such as the type of work is it Apprenterships, graduate and so forth and the type of salary you are looking for, this is really handy when filling out a form or looking for a job as it is all easy to find the correct job for you.
